Location

SoftCOM 2001 and all related events (Tutorials, Workshops, Business Forum, Exhibitions) will be held aboard the ship "Dubrovnik".

Each day of the conference the ship will be anchored in one of the ports on the route, and overnight it will sail towards the next destination. This provides participants with the opportunity to share ideas in close contact with their colleagues and to enjoy the pleasant and inspiring ambience while visiting the ports along the beautiful Adriatic coast. During the conference the car deck will serve as an exhibition arena for exhibitors of software and telecommunication products.

Weather

In October the weather in Split is very nice, with an average temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius and the sea temperature agreeable for swimming. The latest weather forecast for the Adriatic Coast is available here.
